Batik is called Batik Motif Medan. So in the motif of batik own field there is a wide range of patterns and motifs.
Five batik motifs of the famous Batak ethnic include the style of Batak ulos cloth, Hari Hara Sundung's motif in the sky that shows the characteristics of Toba Batak, and Pani Patunda motif from Simalungun
