The combination of bright colors combined with ethnic motifs of Papua are often asymmetrical to make batik Papua look exotic. Most of the motifs of Batik Papua show elements of natural and cultural areas of Papua. For the famous animal motif are birds of paradise, lizards and crocodiles.
